On this page you will find the terms and permissions for using the Heart Berry Image and the Heart Berry Methodology in your teaching & learning practice.

Why is this so important?

With her gift, Alisha granted permission to Camosun College Library and Camosun College Instructors to use the image of her painting for educational purposes. However, it is important to understand that while the college owns the physical painting, the artist retains copyright over the use of her image.

Gifts of the Heart Berry is much more than a beautiful picture. In the service of both learning and decolonization, the Gifts of the Heart Berry image needs to be understood within the context of the Heart Berry Methodology.

The image should never be reproduced without crediting the artist and connecting the viewer to the Heart Berry Methodology.
